What you agree to when you use Sentesting, and what we commit to in return.
Last updated 14 August 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Sentienta Technologies Private Limited (“Sentesting”, “we”). By creating an account or running a scan you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
You may only scan systems you own or are explicitly authorised in writing to test. Dynamic testing sends real traffic to a live target. Doing that without permission may be a criminal offence in most jurisdictions, including under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), the Computer Misuse Act (UK), and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).
Security testing is not a guarantee. Findings are produced by automated analysis. No scanner detects every vulnerability, and a clean result does not mean a system is secure. You remain responsible for your own security posture, and for validating findings before acting on them.
False positives happen. We work to keep them low and report confidence alongside every finding, but you should verify a finding before treating it as confirmed.
Availability. We aim for continuous availability but do not offer a formal uptime commitment on self-serve plans. Scans have wall-clock, size, and concurrency limits, published in the product and subject to change.
Beta features. Features marked beta may change or be withdrawn. We will not remove a generally available feature without reasonable notice.
You own your data. Source code, applications, and findings remain yours. We process them only to deliver the service. Handling is described in our privacy policy. We do not use your code to train models.
Fees.Paid plans are billed in advance for the stated period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affecting your renewal.
Termination. You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach — including unauthorised testing — or with 30 days’ notice otherwise. On termination we delete your scan data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
